Your Taxes and Your Money, Working From One Plan.
Most people have a tax preparer they see once a year and a financial life they manage alone. A personal CFO connects the two, with a CPA in your corner all year.
Everything a CPA and a Financial Plan Should Do Together.
- Your individual tax return, prepared and filed
- Quarterly estimated tax calculations and reminders
- A cash flow plan built around your real spending
- A debt payoff plan with a clear order of attack
- Savings priorities for emergencies, retirement and big goals
- Midyear check-in to adjust the plan
- Year-end tax strategy meeting before December 31
- Questions answered when decisions come up, not months later

About Personal CFO
What is a personal CFO?
A personal CFO is an ongoing advisor who looks at your whole financial picture, including taxes, cash flow, debt and goals, and helps you make decisions with a plan. With Groundwork, that advisor is a CPA, so your tax return and your financial plan come from the same person.
Do I need to own real estate?
No. Personal CFO is for anyone who wants their taxes and money working from one plan. Many clients are saving for a first home, paying down debt or growing a household income.
Do you manage investments?
No. I don't manage investments or sell financial products, so my advice isn't tied to anything I'm selling. If you need an investment advisor, I'll coordinate with yours.
Is my tax return included?
Yes. Your individual return is part of the engagement, along with quarterly estimates if you need them.
