About Business Tax
Which business returns do you prepare?
Schedule C for sole proprietors and single-member LLCs, Form 1120-S for S corporations and Form 1065 for partnerships and multi-member LLCs, along with the owners' individual returns.
Should my LLC elect S corporation status?
Sometimes. An S election can reduce self-employment tax once profit is high enough to support a reasonable salary, but it adds payroll, a separate return and other costs. I run the numbers for your situation before recommending it.
Can you help with quarterly estimates?
Yes. Business owners usually need to pay estimated taxes, and I'll calculate them so you avoid underpayment penalties and a surprise bill in April.
Plan the Year Before It Plans You.
Tell me about your properties, business or goals. I'll tell you plainly whether Groundwork is a good fit.
